Approved applicants will receive monetary or other requested support. Photos will be taken at the time of the award. The award recipient agrees that funds are restricted to the purpose stated on the application. A team member may request a meeting with you and to visit your facility. The award recipient agrees to provide copies or photos of receipts for expenditures related to the purpose stated on the application. The award recipient agrees to provide photos to be used for newsletters and promotion.

What happens after I apply for grant support?

Within 48 hours you will receive receipt confirmation.
Our Advisory Commitee will review the application and may contact you if additional information is needed.
A team member may reach out to you for a meeting or visit.
Our Board will review applications approved by the Advisory Committee.
All applicants will be notified via email about the status of the application.
Grant recipients will be awarded the grant funding and photos will be shared on our website and social media.

How long does it take to receive an answer?

Requests for food and supplies will be answered within 48 hours and pickup will be coordinated by a team member.
Requests for marketing support will be answered within 48 hours and will be coordinated by a team member.
Grant application requests will be confirmed within 48 hours. Smaller requests that require minimal due diligence may be released within one week if approved. Larger requests that require further due diligence may take up to 4 weeks.

What are examples of requests that may not be approved?

Operating costs, including rent and other regular expenses.
Projects that do not support animal welfare.
Projects that are not clearly defined, with cost estimates and timelines.
Monetary support to cover medical costs for a single animal.
