Naughty Donkey Farm Sanctuary
We provided funding to support TNVR (Trap–Neuter–Vaccinate–Return) for community cats in Stanly County. TNVR is one of the most effective and humane tools we have to reduce overpopulation, prevent suffering, and create healthier communities for animals and people alike. This grant helps extend that care beyond the farm by supporting community cats—addressing the crisis at its source while protecting future generations of animals.

We provided funding to support their mission of providing spay/neuter services for the dogs in their care.
Carolina Animal Network is a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based rescue dedicated to saving at-risk dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in Eastern North Carolina. Since 2021, their volunteers have helped save more than 2,500 animals, giving them a second chance at life through adoption and relocation to loving homes. They promote spay & neuter to reduce overpopulation and advocate for reform across North Carolina

They specialize in rescuing kittens less than 8 weeks old, as well as those who are sick, injured, or otherwise at risk of being overlooked.

Life Beyond Kennels
We provided funding to spay and neuter animals, contributing to the effort to reduce animal overpopulation.
Life Beyond Kennels positively impacts animal welfare by rescuing and providing care for dogs who face the greatest challenges. We prioritize special needs dogs—including blind, deaf, handicapped, or medically fragile dogs, as well as senior dogs and those requiring ongoing medications. We also rescue dogs classified as “code red” at other shelters, ensuring they receive life-saving care instead of euthanasia.

We partnered with a seasoned team of veterinary staff and volunteers who donated their time for a day of spay and neuter (and vaccinate). 29 animals were spayed and neutered (and 16 were vaccinated) at no cost to the pet owners to prevent adding to the overpopulation crisis in NC. Thanks to generous donations we were able to cover 100% of clinic costs.
